Found this recently and thought I have to hang this up in our little Airbnb. My dad had a Hardware store for many years called Bredin’s Hardware in Ennis. It was on Barrack Street and we grew up over the shop. It was one of them shops that had everything. We played as kids in the shop and once you could reach the counter you were given a job. Anyway it closed many years ago and Dad passed away in 2023. Small things of his now mean so much. Little things we may have taken for granted before. This was an item that was left over in the shops stock. Thought it would be beautiful in our little Airbnb. Dad would have loved that. ❤️ 🍀

With this Years Season almost over we are so grateful for everyone who stayed with us this year. This years Season has lasted longer and each year we get busier and busier. It’s been almost fully booked since march so that’s something to be proud of. And our reviews have been just so lovely. A lot to be grateful for. This evening as our next guests arrive we are just thanking our lucky stars. We will be closing at the end of Nov for this year and back opened next Feb. A few nights available before we close for this year. Huge thanks to everyone who trusted us with their holidays or breakaway. I always think of myself when I am away and how precious those 2 weeks or weekend away is. None of us get away enough so when you do you want it right. You want it to feel like someone made the effort. I can definitely say you could not say we did not make the effort. Each guest is important. So if you are planning a few days away why not The Burren. We have a few nights available before the end of Nov. 🫶🫶

It has been a wonderful season and really busy. Always so lovely to see people from far and wide staying with us. We so enjoy hearing where people are from and their stories. We have made many friends over the years. And continue to enjoy running our little escape in the country.

This is our 4th season and each year it gets busier which we are so lucky 🍀 and delighted about. Lots of bookings right up to October. But some availability. If you’d like to book with us check us out on Airbnb. We have really lovely reviews. 🫶

We are constantly changing and adding and updating the Lodge. It’s our little ongoing project. As a designer I Can’t but help myself changing things around but also with my love of crafts I am always making new items. Love the shade for the lamp here I made with free motion embroidery of a Dolmen.
