The plastic bollards on Manor Street, Waterford weren't perfect, but did provide a small degree of protection for cyclists.
Dear Waterford City and County Council please reinstate the recently removed safety infrastructure on this busy route linking SETU and the city centre.

Manor Street is a one-way street for cars heading into the city centre from the Cork Road direction. The Viking Marathon takes place in and around Waterford city today. Best wishes to all those taking part.
Waterford Greenway will remain closed to cyclists and walkers from Grattan Quay to Carroll's Cross until 15:00 this afternoon.

Cyclists and nature lovers may be interested to know that Waterford Bicycle Users Group, with the support of Irish Cycling Campaign, is hosting a biodiversity themed guided cycle on Saturday, May 23rd at Carriganore Greenway Carpark, starting at 2pm. The cycle is open to all and will be led by Brian Jacob, a volunteer with B Corridor, a Waterford city based environmental group.
