Waterford is where my heart is – and at Christmas, it truly becomes something magical.

Every year, Ireland’s oldest city transforms into Winterval, a sparkling Christmas festival that winds its way through the Viking Triangle, the quays and the historic streets I grew up with. Think twinkling lights, a big wheel on the waterfront, markets, music, ice skating, and the scent of mulled wine in the crisp evening air.
