Richmond House is the perfect intimate wedding venue that can cater for up to 50 guests. Steeped in heritage, old-world charm and warmth, Richmond is an early-18th-century country house nestled among the stunning West Waterford countryside, just outside of Cappoquin. It is relaxed but elegant; the ideal place to celebrate your wedding.

Surrounded by over 10 acres of private ground and mature gardens, Richmond House is an idyllic retreat for you and your loved ones. On your wedding day, the house will be exclusively yours. You can choose to hold your ceremony on site or simply arrive as newlyweds and enjoy a decadent drinks reception before you sit for your wedding meal in our award-winning restaurant. Weekends are for long, lazy breakfasts! And that's something we specialise in here in Richmond House.

We have loved having a full house almost all summer and the same continues for September. We still have some rooms available towards the end of the month if you fancy a luxurious night away in one of our 9 guest suits. You'll also get to enjoy breakfast in our award winning restaurant, something we are renowned for here in Richmond House!

Weddings at Richmond are very special occasions, and while we have some off-peak dates left for 2021, the peak dates for 2022 are already booking up fast! (So far, the weekends of July 23rd, July 30th, August 6th and August 20th 2022 are booked out!)

After a lengthy lockdown, we are thrilled to reopen this Friday, 4th of June to welcome overnight guests back to Richmond House. We are so looking forward to meeting our guests and we have an almost full house for the weekend!

Our restaurant will be then reopening as normal in line with government guidelines for non-resident diners on the 5th of July.
