✨ WHAT A DAY FOR WOMEN IN BUSINESS IN WATERFORD! ✨

Last week, the Big Bear Design team had the pleasure of providing full technical production and support for Waterford Women's Enterprise Day, organised by Local Enterprise Office Waterford and what a fantastic event it was!

An incredible gathering of inspiring women, brilliant local businesses, powerful conversations and plenty of positive energy!

One of the highlights was a fantastic panel discussion, expertly hosted by Nichola Beresford, featuring an amazing line-up of local businesswomen:

✨ Suzanne Parker – Parker Law
✨ Theresainne O'Reilly – Twelve and Founder of The Forest
✨ Gabrielle Cummins – Nemeton TV

And of course, a very special mention to the brilliant Louise Grubb, founder of TriviumVet, who delivered a superb keynote address. An inspiring, insightful and engaging talk that was a real highlight of the day!

🐻 Behind every great event is a team making sure everything runs seamlessly!

From sound, lighting and staging to presentations and technical coordination, our Big Bear crew were delighted to work behind the scenes, helping bring the whole event together.

A huge congratulations to Local Enterprise Office Waterford for putting together such a wonderful event and showcasing the extraordinary talent, ambition and entrepreneurship we have right here in Waterford.

We absolutely love being part of events that bring people together, spark ideas and celebrate local success!

We can't believe it's been a whole year since SANOFI FEST 2025! 🎪

And what a day it was! From mind-blowing science experiments 🔬 and
futuristic VR adventures 🥽 to robots 🤖, fairground fun 🎠 and
unforgettable entertainment this one really had it all!

At Big Bear Design, we absolutely love bringing events like this to
life. Creating unforgettable experiences, transforming spaces and
seeing people of all ages having the time of their lives is what it's
all about! 🐻✨

A huge thank you to the fantastic team at Sanofi for trusting us to
help bring this incredible celebration together. 💜

And of course, a big shout-out to some of the brilliant people and
businesses who helped make the magic happen! 🙌

It's that exciting time of year again, and things are getting busy behind the scenes at Big Bear Design!

We're delighted to be returning to the Durrow Tunnel on the Waterford Greenway, bringing our annual installation back to life once again.

Designed and installed by the Big Bear team each year, it's a project we love being part of, and we're looking forward to creating something special for visitors once more.

But that's not all!

We're also incredibly excited to be joining forces with the fantastic team at Spraoi as their production partner on this year's Wicked Woods project; helping bring their creative vision to life on the Waterford Greenway.

Two fantastic projects, plenty of creativity, and a little bit of magic along the way!
We're proud to be playing our part in bringing these wonderful experiences to Waterford and can't wait for everyone to enjoy them.

Summer in the City week 9 - A jam packed weekend for you!

We’ve got the CAMPERVAN of Sound X Youth Takeover happening from 1pm today 💥

🗣️ At 2pm at the Book Centre, Derek Flynn & Johnny Codd will be performing a brand new play ‘They Shall Not Pass’ - and ADMISSION IS FREE!

THEY SHALL NOT PASS is a historical play combining drama and music that tells the story of the Waterford men who fought for the Republican side in the Spanish Civil War.

🎶 The Big Jam 🎶

At 2pm at the Applemarket, the Big Jam will get underway!

The Big Jam Orchestra are a group from Waterford Centre of Music that welcomes musicians of all genres and from all musical backgrounds.

Led by the staff at Waterford Centre of Music, the Big Jam Orchestra class is always 100% zero pressure, with the emphasis on enjoyment, socialising and of course making some AMAZING music together.
