We’re honoured to have attended the Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity event today at The Mansion House Dublin, — a truly meaningful occasion for those of us attending from Summit Scaffolding.

It was particularly inspiring to hear our Senior Supervisor, Alan Brien, courageously share his personal journey. Alan, your honesty and bravery moved us all — we’re immensely proud of you, and your story inspires everyone here at Summit.

The Lighthouse charity does incredible work for the construction community across Ireland and the UK, offering free 24/7 emotional, physical, and financial wellbeing support, including a confidential helpline, a peer-support app, live chat, and regional “Beacons” — safe spaces where workers can talk and connect .

Summit Industrials, our new company, is currently seeking a part-time administrator to join our team. This role is primarily remote, though there may be occasional requirements to work from our office.

We are looking for someone with experience using QuickBooks to maintain and update the system on a weekly basis, send out weekly invoices, and handle other general administrative tasks. This is an 8-hour-per-week position to start, with the potential for growth as the company expands.

Looking for a Scaffolding Supervisor in the Dublin Area

Requirements:
* Minimum of 5 years of scaffolding experience
* CSCS card level 1 or 2

Experience in:
* Full program safety
* Client relationship management
* Team leadership (6-10 staff)
* Weekly valuations and inspections
* Whiteboard meetings daily
* Some light duty scaffolding work

These positions would be suitable for someone looking to transition from the more physical demands of daily scaffolding tasks. There are 2 positions available in the Dublin area.

Quantity Surveyor/Estimator – Dublin

Summit Scaffolding is seeking a Quantity Surveyor/ Estimator to join our dynamic team in Dublin. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of high-profile projects in a stimulating and rewarding environment, while scaffolding experience is an advantage it is not essential.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage & track project costs
- Validate subcontractor and supplier interim payments, submitting them for approval.
- Identify, document, and track claims and variations with the project team.
- Keep project stakeholders informed of commercial activities and changes.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and their representatives.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of cost reports.
- Identify commercial risks and opportunities, reporting them to the Contracts Manager.

Requirements/Experience:
- Experience in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics
- previous Scaffolding Management position an advantage.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Commercial awareness and a thorough understanding of construction processes.
- Attention to detail and a proactive work ethic.
- Proficiency (Microsoft Office; Avontus experience is a plus).
- Full, clean driving license essential.

**What We Offer**
This is a full-time, permanent position (Monday to Friday) with a competitive salary based on experience.
