Our Kilimanjaro team are in high camp and in position to make their summit push! 🏔️

Around the time you go to sleep tonight, they’ll begin their push for the summit.

They’ll battle sub-zero temperatures and cold winds for around seven hours to reach the Roof of Africa for sunrise.

Sometimes Nepal gets all the attention when we talk about the Himalayas. But there’s a whole lot more to explore.

We ran our first trip to Ladakh back in 2007, and it’s been a firm favourite ever since. The culture is completely unique, the landscapes are epic, and our route through the Markha Valley is one of the best treks in the Indian Himalayas.

And then there’s the objective. Kang Yatse II, standing at 6,250m.

It’s a serious challenge, with a big summit day on snow, but it’s also a brilliant introduction to higher-altitude mountaineering. For anyone who’s done something like Kilimanjaro and is wondering what comes next, or who has Aconcagua on the horizon, Kang Yatse II is a fantastic stepping stone.
