שיתופי פעולה ומעשים טובים קורים אצלנו... ❣
לכבוד יום המעשים הטובים שחל מחר, למעלה ל- 300 מארזים נרכשו באתר של ג'ואיש נשונל פאנד ארה"ב ונתרמו לחיילים ולמשפחות של מפונים ששבו הביתה לקיבוץ חניתה בימים אלו.

המארזים כללו תוצרת איכותית של עסקים קטנים מהגליל מחטיפים איכותיים, גבינות ממחלבות מקומיות, ארנקים בעבודת יד, שמיכות ארוגות, מוצרים ממאפיות בוטיק, ושאר דברים טובים.

עשרות בני שירות לאומי להתנדב מטעם עמותת אופק ממחוז צפון הגיעו למרכז מידע בעכו העתיקה שמנהלת זמן גליל מערבי לעזור עם האריזות המארזים המהודרים ונהנו מהביחד, העשייה למען ,הנתינה דרך אריזת המוצרים מהגליל ומילוי הברכות ,יום מלמד ומניב לכולם.

בת אל ונה, מנהלת מרכז מידע בעכו העתיקה, שהובילה והנחתה את היום המשמעותי הזה, סיפרה על הארגון "זמן גליל מערבי", מטרתו והשותפות רבת השנים עם ג'ואיש נשונל פאנד ארה"ב. שרק נזכה לעשות טוב!

Cooperation and Good Deeds – Western Galilee Now & Jewish National Fund-USA
Over 300 gift packages were purchased through the Jewish National Fund-USA website and donated to soldiers and families of evacuees who have recently returned home to Kibbutz Hanita.

The packages featured high-quality products from small businesses in the Galilee, including premium snacks, cheeses from local dairies, handmade wallets, woven blankets, products from boutique bakeries, and other delightful treats.

Dozens of National Service volunteers from the Ofek Association – Northern District arrived at the JNF Western Galilee Now Information Center in Old Akko to help pack these festive gift sets. They enjoyed the sense of community, the joy of giving, and the experience of assembling these special packages filled with Galilean products and heartfelt blessings.

Bat-El Vana, the manager of the Old Akko Information Center, led and guided this meaningful day. She shared insights about the Western Galilee Now Small Business Consurtium, its mission, and its long-standing partnership with Jewish National Fund-USA.

כמה התגעגענו לארח... בשבוע שעבר יצאנו עם סוכני תיירות לסיור חשיפה בגליל, כדי להזכיר לכולם – הגליל מתעורר מחדש!

🥐 פתחנו את היום כמו שצריך – בארוחת בוקר מול הים במסעדת LIWA שעל גג מלון עכותיקה.
🏡 ביקרנו בבית היסמין, שם מרים שיתפה אותנו בסיפור המיוחד של הבית העות'מאני שלה.
🍋 המשכנו לסיור בשוק עם ורד עדי, ועצרנו כמובן גם בבית המלבי לטעום את המלבי המפורסם והמשובח של האחת והיחיד - תינה חטיב.
📍 הגענו למרכז המידע שלנו ובו ליאור כרמל דבדבני שיתפה את הסוכנים בכל מה שהוא מציע: המלצות, מפות, טיפים, הטבות, חנות ותערוכות מתחלפות – 7 ימים בשבוע.
🍽 נפגשנו בבורג’ עם מנאר וגילי מ"אלטמנים מבשלים חוויה", שמציעים סדנאות בישול ואירוח גלילי מול נוף עוצר נשימה.

How we’ve missed hosting…
Last week, we took tourism agents on an exposure tour of the Galilee, reminding everyone—the Galilee is coming back to life!

🥐 We started the day right – with breakfast by the sea at LIWA, the rooftop restaurant of Akotika Hotel.
🏡 Visited Beit Al-Yasmin, where Miriam shared the fascinating story of her historic Ottoman home.
🍋 Explored the vibrant Akko market with Vered Adi, making sure to stop at Beit HaMalabi for the legendary Malabi by the one and only Tina Khatib.
📍 Arrived at our JNF Tourist Information Center, where Lior Carmel Davedvani introduced the agents to all the center has to offer: recommendations, maps, tips, exclusive deals, a boutique shop, and rotating exhibitions—open 7 days a week.
🍽 Met with Minar and Gili at Burj, where “Altmanim Cooking Experience” hosts immersive Galilean cooking workshops and hospitality with breathtaking views.
🏰 Explored the impressive Knights’ Halls—a must-see in Akko.
🧀 Left Akko for a delicious lunch at Dugma Dairy in Moshav Amka.
💃 Ended the day with dance! At the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Village in Ga’aton, we watched performances and even tried a few steps ourselves!

מאז תחילת המלחמה, בכל חודש מגיעות לישראל משלחות מתנדבים מארה"ב במסגרת Jewish National Fund-USA, במטרה לעזור, לתמוך ולבנות – היכן שאפשר וצריך.

אתמול זכינו לארח משלחת נוספת, שהגיעה במיוחד לתמוך בגליל ובפרט בעסקים הקטנים שלנו. את היום פתחנו במסעדת נור, המסעדה הדרוזית של בסמה הינו, שם יחד בישלנו, ארזנו וחילקנו 220 מנות חמות לחיילים בגבול הצפון.

משם המשכנו לעכו, למרכז המידע שלנו, שם המתנדבים ארזו 250 מארזים מלאים בתוצרת משובחת של עסקים קטנים מהגליל והנגב – שנשלחו לחיילים ברחבי הארץ.

לאחר סיום האריזות, יצאנו לסיור בסמטאות העיר העתיקה, כדי לפגוש ולהכיר מקרוב את אנשי התיירות המקומיים ולשמוע על העשייה שלהם.

✨ תודה על שהגעתם, על הלב הרחב ועל הערבות ההדדית שאתם מפגינים בתקופת המלחמה ובכלל.
זה היה יום של עשייה, חיבור והשראה! המשלחות הללו הן דוגמה מדהימה לכוח של קהילה, לתמיכה אמיתית בעסקים הקטנים ולחיבורים מרגשים בין אנשים ותרבויות.

Since the beginning of the war, volunteers from the U.S. have been arriving in Israel every month through the Jewish National Fund-USA, offering help, support, and rebuilding efforts wherever needed.

Yesterday, we had the privilege of welcoming one such mission, dedicated to supporting the Galilee with a special focus on our small businesses. The day began at Noor Restaurant, a Druze eatery owned by Basma Hino, where together, we cooked, packed, and distributed 220 hot meals for soldiers stationed on the northern border.

From there, the volunteers arrived in Akko at our JNF Tourist Information Center, where they packed 250 care packages, each filled with high-quality products from small businesses in the Galilee and the Negev, destined for soldiers across the country.

After the packing session, we strolled through the alleys of Akko, meeting and connecting with local tourism entrepreneurs.

✨ Thank you for your generosity, for your big hearts, and for your unwavering support—during the war and always.
It was a day filled with action, connection, and inspiration! These missions are a powerful example of community solidarity, meaningful contributions to soldiers, and the incredible impact of supporting small businesses and cultural exchange.

עכשיו כשאפשר – משלחות המתנדבים של Jewish National Fund USA חוזרות לגליל המערבי!
השבוע זכינו לארח משלחת מיוחדת שהגיעה לתמוך ולעזור. הבוקר נפתח בבנייה וצביעה בקיבוץ חניתה בשיתוף מועצת מטה אשר, ומשם המשכנו למרכז המידע בעכו העתיקה.

יחד ארזנו 350 מארזים מלאים בתוצרת גלילית והערכה עבור חיילים, משפחות מפונות ומשפחות המילואים. בתוכם יחכו להם גרנולה של חגית לידרור, פירות יבשים של לגעת בשדה, חלבה של בית המלבי, תה גלילי של חוות רום ושובר לגלידה של בוזה. כשברקע התנגנו שירים כמו "מתנות קטנות" ו"לך אלי תשוקתי", חלק מהמתנדבים שיתפו שהם מרגישים כאילו הם אורזים לילדים שלהם – מכל הלב ועם תחושת שליחות.

This week we were honored to host a special mission that came to support and help. The morning began with construction and painting at Kibbutz Hanita in collaboration with the Mateh Asher Regional Council, and from there we continued to the JNF Information Center in Old Akko.

Together we packed 350 boxes full of Galilean produce and appreciation for soldiers, evacuated families, and reservist families. They will find Hagit Lidror granola, Lagaat BaSade dried fruits, Malabi House halva, Galilean tea from the Rom Farm, and a voucher for Buza ice cream. With nostalgic Israeli songs playing in the background, some volunteers shared that they feel as if they are packing for their children – with all their hearts and a sense of mission.
The missions’ visit continued with an introduction to our galleries in Akko — Akko Art Gallery and Art 192, then ended the day with a mouthwatering meal at the Noor Restaurant in Julis accompanied by Basma Hino's amazing story.

תודה שחגגתם איתנו ב"פסטיבל חורף גלילי" ה-12!
כדי שנוכל לקיים אותו גם בתנאי לחימה, החלטנו השני להוציא את הפסטיבל ממקומו הטבעי - הגליל המערבי, ופנינו לחברינו היקרים בתיאטרון גבעתיים בבקשה לקיים אותו אצלם. לשמחתנו הרבה, התקבלנו בזרועות פתוחות וניתנה לנו יד חופשית לפעול ולהציע אירועים מגוונים ולהפוך את התיאטרון למרחב גלילי מלא בכל טוב.

התרגשנו לראות את כולכם טועמים את מיטב מאכלי ויינות הגליל, רוכשים תוצרת קולינרית וגם אמנות גלילית ובעיקר, נחשפים לבעלי עסקי התיירות הנפלאים שלנו.

אנחנו גאים לומר שהגליל חזר במלוא תפארתו הביתה, מרבית העסקים חזרו להיפתח, גם אם במתכונת חלקית, ואנחנו מחכים לראות אתכם מגיעים ליהנות, ללמוד, לחוות ולראות את המקום הנהדר הזה ואת האנשים המקסימים שממלאים אותו.

Thank you for celebrating with us at the 12th Annual Galilee Winter Festival! 🙏🏽
This year, in a one-time event, in light of the security situation, we decided to move the festival from its natural location in the Western Galilee and we asked our dear friends in Givatayim to host us. The Givatayim Theatre was transformed into a Galilean space filled with all kinds of goodness for four days.

We were thrilled to see all of you tasting the best Galilean food and wines, enjoying dance, music, and performances, purchasing culinary products and Galilean art, and, most importantly, being exposed to the owners of our wonderful Galilean businesses. 🤗

We are proud to announce that the Galilee is reawakening, most businesses have reopened and we are waiting to see you come to enjoy, taste, and experience this wonderful space and the charming people who fill it. 🌈
