אנחנו נרגשים מאוד לסכם את מפגש ההתנעה הראשון של פורום יזמי תיירות עכו העתיקה.

הקסם של עכו טמון באנשים שבו. בסיפורים ובחיבורים. אתמול ראינו את הקסם הזה קורה – קבוצה מרשימה של יזמים - מלונאים, מדריכים, מסעדנים ואומנים, ישבו יחד, צחקו והתרגשו. הם זיקקו את החוזקות של עכו העתיקה והביעו את האהבה הגדולה שלהם לעיר.

המפגש התקיים ביוזמה משותפת של מיכל מנכ''לית עמותת זמן גליל מערבי, יובל פורת, מנכ''ל החברה לפיתוח עכו ואודיה ארצי-קדם מנהלת פרויקטים מטעם קרן בלומברג. זכינו לערב מעורר השראה באולמות האבירים, שכלל סדנת סטוריטלינג של העיתונאית והמנחה חגית אברון, עבודה בשולחנות עגולים ולקינוח - הצצה מיוחדת למופע האור־קולי החדש והמרהיב באולמות האבירים.

הערב הזה הוא יריית הפתיחה לסדרה של מפגשים, שמטרתה להחזיר את האור לעיר.
ויש למה לחכות!

We are excited to share a summary of the first kickoff meeting of the Old Akko Tourism Entrepreneurs Forum.

The magic of Akko lies in its people—in their stories and the connections they create. Yesterday, we witnessed that magic in action. An impressive group of entrepreneurs—including hoteliers, tour guides, restaurateurs, and artists—came together, laughed, shared inspiring moments, and reflected on the unique strengths of Old Acre. Most importantly, they expressed their deep love for the city.

The meeting was held as a joint initiative of Michal, CEO of the Western Galilee Now Small Business Consortium; Yuval Porat, CEO of the Akko Development Company; and Odiya Artzi-Kedem, Project Manager on behalf of the Bloomberg Foundation.

We enjoyed an inspiring evening at the Knights’ Halls, featuring a storytelling workshop led by journalist and moderator Hagit Avron, collaborative roundtable discussions, and, as a special finale, an exclusive preview of the new and spectacular audiovisual show at the Knights’ Halls.

This evening marks the beginning of a series of gatherings aimed at bringing the light back to the city.

And there is so much to look forward to! ✨

לא עוצרים לרגע. בתמיכת הארגון הפילנתרופי ג'ואיש נשונל פאנד-ארה"ב, מאז סבב הלחימה הנוסף, תיירני זמן גליל מערבי - הגיעו לכל תושבי מועצת מטה אשר, קטנים כגדולים, לעצור לרגע, לשמוח ולחוות יחדיו.
שמחים לחלוק עמכם מקצת החוויות והתודות.

We never stop. With the support of Jewish National fund-USA, since the recent wave of war, members of Western Galilee Now - Small Business Consortium, tourism entrepreneurs, had the opportunity to reach the communities of Matte Asher Regional Council to stop for a moment, smile and enjoy some time together. We are proud to be part of these experiences and express our gratitude.

עם סיומו של פסטיבל אביב מס' 13 - בהצלחה רבה למרות המציאות השברירית - רצינו לחלוק אתכם את תחושותנו ותודתנו:

יש רגעים בתיירות שבהם הלב עובד חזק יותר מכל תוכנית עבודה,
והשבועות האחרונים הזכירו לנו בדיוק למה אנחנו עושים את מה שאנחנו עושים בעמותת זמן גליל מערבי,
ולמה אנחנו בוחרות ובוחרים שוב ושוב לעסוק בתיירות ולתמוך בעסקים הקטנים פה בצפון 🙏🏼

אירוע ״טעם הגליל״ - שוק איכרים ויריד תוצרת גלילית השנתי שלנו, כבר היה ערוך ומוכן לקראתכם -
אבל ערב לפני הפתיחה התקבלה החלטה לא פשוטה וביטלנו את האירוע בעקבות המתיחות הביטחונית.

למרות האכזבה, בחרנו להישאר עם הפנים לאנשים.
האורחים שלא הספיקו לראות את הודעת הביטול התקבלו באהבה על ידי צוות העמותה ביקב כישור עם יין, חיוכים וכיבוד מפנק מבית "תושה בייקרי". תושה בייקרי- Tosha Bakery כשר,חלבי

התוצרת שכבר נקטפה ע"י "לגעת בשדה" לגעת בשדה, הועברה לעסק נוסף מהעמותה, קייטרינג ''בריוש'', ממנה בושלו מנות חמות לחיילים בקו העימות.

ואז הגיע פסטיבל האביב 🪻
שלושה ימים של טעמים, מוזיקה, יצירה ומפגשים חד-פעמיים שנרקמו במשך חודשים ארוכים של הכנות, חיבורים ועשייה מאחורי הקלעים.

סדנאות, אירועים קולינריים, טיולים, אומנות ומפגשי יין - חגיגה גלילית אחת גדולה!
ולמרות המתיחות - אתם הגעתם. מכל רחבי הארץ. לעשרות אירועים ברחבי הגליל המערבי.

הצבעתם ברגליים, חיבקתם את העסקים המקומיים והזכרתם לנו שאנחנו לא לבד.
נתתם לעסקים שלנו אוויר לנשימה, כוח להמשיך ותקווה גדולה לימים טובים יותר.

With the conclusion of the 13th Spring Festival - a great success despite the fragile reality surrounding us - we wanted to share our feelings and gratitude with you:

There are moments in tourism when the heart works harder than any business plan, and the past few weeks reminded us exactly why we do what we do at the Western Galilee Now Small Business Consortium.

Why we continue, time and again, to choose tourism as our path and to support the small businesses here in the North.

Our annual “Taste of the Galilee” event - a farmers’ market and Galilean produce fair - was fully prepared and ready to welcome you.
But on the eve of the opening, a difficult decision had to be made, and we canceled the event due to the security tensions.

Despite the disappointment, we chose to keep our focus on people.
Guests who had not yet seen the cancellation notice were warmly welcomed by the consortium’s team at Kishor Winery with wine, smiles, and generous refreshments from Tosha Bakery.

The produce that had already been harvested by “Lagaat Basade” was transferred to another business in our Consortium , “Brioche” Catering, where it was transformed into hot meals for soldiers stationed on the front lines.

And then came the Spring Festival. 🪻

Three days of flavors, music, creativity, and one-of-a-kind encounters - all woven together through long months of preparation, collaboration, and behind-the-scenes dedication.

Workshops, culinary events, tours, art, and wine gatherings - one great Galilean celebration!

And despite the tensions, you came. From all across the country. To dozens of events throughout the Western Galilee.

You showed up, embraced the local businesses, and reminded us that we are not alone.
You gave our businesses room to breathe, strength to continue, and hope for better days ahead.

Thank you to everyone who came, supported, shared, purchased, tasted, explored, and believed in us.

The Western Galilee lives through its people - and thanks to you. 💛
