As one of Israels best tour guides I'm giving here some knowledge about Israel and the Hebrew Bible. And show you the best way to visit the Holy Land.

I’m trying to do something new here, I’m going to use this page to write about Israel and touring in Israel, as well as, give you a new perspective about the significance of some Biblical Hebrew names that you are familiar with, from your reading in the scriptures. In the Hebrew version of the Bible, it is clear that there is a strong intent behind the names. Unfortun

ately, many of whom are “lost in translation”, hence, while reading the same story, the English reader misses those indicators- or clues - for a plot or a situation. Here, I will do my best to include you in the inner circle of those intentions. Hopefully, reading some of the scriptures will be different and even more meaningful for you hereafter.

The Soreq cave (also known as Avshalom’s cave) is one of Israel’s prettiest places and definitely worth a visit if you like nature at it’s best even though “stalactites and stalagmites” is one of the hardest words to say in English.

2 days ago, I wrote how impressed I am from the water level of the Sea Of Galilee. Yesterday, the sea reminded me (us) that it can also be dangerous when strong wind pushes the water over the edge. Look what it did to some boats. (The damage is big especially in Tiberias) Yesterday, there was no Jesus to calm the storm 😳

Every time I get back to the Sea Of Galilee, I’m impressed by the level of the water. Do you remember how far we had to go at Peter’s Primacy church just to be able to put our feet in the water?

On the road again!
Two highlights:
1. I learned that I can still climb Masada!
2. After many years I saw the Sea Of Galilee full- All of you that remember taking the boat ride from Ginosar, the stonewall is no longer exposed, on account of the high water level 😊
