Experience a traditional Friday night Shabbat meal with a family in jerusalem. We will take you to magical musical Friday night prayers in the Nachlaot neighborhood. Afterwards we will bring you along with our other guests back to our rooftop apartment with a view of the parliament and the city and serve a three course home cooked meal. This will give you the opportunity to learn about Jewish traditions such as blessing the wine and singing traditional songs as well as tasting Challah (traditional bread), special salads such as hummus, tehina, carrot lemon salad, beets as well as a main course of beef/chicken or a vegetarian dish (depending on your preference). And delicious fruit and local cakes for desert. All food is bough fresh from the Mahaneh Yehuda market right next to our home. Price: 299 Shekels. Please note that it’s a 3-4 hour experience.
