Israel cancels red countries, reopens its skies

As of January 9, 2022, vaccinated and recovered non-Israeli tourists from all countries will be allowed to enter Israel. The government decided to lift the travel ban and open the skies fully. By midnight January 6, 2022 all former Red list countries will move to the Orange list.

It is important to note that arrival to Israel is via Ben Gurion Airport Only. Arrival via land borders is not possible at the moment. Land Crossing from Israel to Egypt or Jordan can be coordinated

We hope you a had a blessed Holiday Season, we would like to share with you the below press release announcing that Israel will open its borders for all vaccinated travelers from orange countries effective 09 Jan 2022.

The Prime Minister and the Ministers of Health, Interior, Tourism and Transport concluded that, effective Sunday, 9.1.2022, vaccinated/recovered foreign nationals (according to the Ministry of Health's definitions) from countries on the orange list will be allowed to arrive in Israel, subject to filling out an online form ahead of time, taking a PCR or antigen test before boarding the flight, taking a PCR test upon arrival in Israel, following which they will go into isolation for 24 hours or until they test negative (whichever is earlier)

To our dear clients and partners,

We are anxiously waiting for a global solution for this pandemic.

We are monitoring the situation closely and following the phasing out of lockdown procedures as well as any new instructions for allowing tourists back to the country.

The lockdown is now being gradually eased since we have seen a reduction in number of people infected.

Hotels are now allowed to open with restrictions.

National parks and nature reserves are now allowed to open although gatherings of people are still restricted. Gatherings up to 100 people in open space will be allowed as of May 31st. Restaurants are still closed and may open May 31st or June 14th depending on the situation.

On June 14th, there will be partial civil and international flights allowed.

Forecasts for tourism to be allowed in are for mid-summer to September but no specific dates have been officially announced so far although hotels are now allowed to open with restrictions. Once the regulations are set, we will update you with any requirements requested and if any nationalities are still restricted from entering
