It was here that healing waters stirred, and where Jesus performed one of his most poignant miracles, offering hope and renewal to a man who had been ill for thirty-eight years (John 5:1-9). In the fading light of dusk, the ancient stones of Robinson's Arch stand testament to millennia of history in the Old City of Jerusalem. A solitary figure gazes out over the archaeological remains, where once throngs of worshippers and travelers tread. The Western Wall, a remnant of the Second Temple, evokes a profound connection to heritage and faith. As the moon hangs in the sky, one might recall the words from Psalms 122:6, "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: 'May they prosper who love you.'"

This photo captures the historical Robinson's Arch, part of the archaeological site next to the Western Wall in Jerusalem's Old City. The arch was an ancient stone arch that once stood at the southwestern corner of the Temple Mount. Here, the imposing bell tower of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer stands proudly, offering stories carved in stone. Just a breath away, the of the Holy Sepulchre's ancient domes whisper tales of devotion, echoing through the ages. As the present mingles with the past, the Old City's soulful beauty remains as poignant as ever.
Within these walls, we walk in the footsteps of history and faith. 'Peace be within your walls and security within your towers!' (Psalm 122:7).
