As a tour guide in Israel evry now and then i come across somthing intresting.
This time while guiding 9 graders in the desert on of them saw this.
Left over from A young Nubian Ibex. Acording to the ranger it fell from the cliff and broke a leg. The park staff followed him and the vet gave him a shot putting him dwon, leaving him there for the vultures.
The Ibex almost went instinct here in Israel but thanks to enormce efforts the population was reastored.
We also used to have hundreds of them here but due to poisening there are now less then 200 of this amazing birds.
