Dear Former students and friends,

If you are thinking of going to Israel for a Bar/Bat Mitzvah, a family trip or in a group sometime next summer, now is the time to start your planning.

It may seem early, but hotels are booking up faster than usual. One of my clients came to me at the end of this April for a December trip had difficulty getting their desired hotel. I was able to make it happen, but not without ‘sweating it out’.

For those of you that don’t know, I own a company that creates and plans exceptional, customized tours for people going to Israel: IsraelCelebrationTours.com (https://sraelCelebrationTours.com) Even if you have visited before, we tailor the trip to focus on your interests and desires, making it a one-of-a-kind tour. And did I mention our tour guides are tops in their field?

These are but a few of the sites and activities available to you:

• Do you like high adventure?
o How about skydiving at the Dead Sea?
o Rappelling in the Naftalie Mountains?
o Hiking from Sea to Sea (from the Mediterranean to the Sea of Galilee)?
o Biking along Israel’s trails?
o Learn weapons use and Krav Maga?
o Scuba Dive at an underwater museum?
• Prefer a leisurely pace?
o Sitting down (and I do mean sitting down) to a traditional Bedouin meal.
o Short hikes to view historic places and enjoy Israel’s beauty.
o Stroll through museums
o View a computer simulation of walking into the Temple of 2,000 years ago.
• Looking for Luxury?
o Dining in the best restaurants as you travel the country with cuisines from around the world!
o Stay in five-star hotels with refinement, elegance, and modern comfort!
o Travel in comfy, late-model, air-conditioned cars or vans (depending on group size).
• Want to add meaning?
o Bring your children and parents and celebrate a Bar or Bat Mitzvah with our rabbi.
o Our rabbi can help you renew your marriage vows.
o Celebrate Shabbat at the Kotel or the Mediterranean Sea.

A trip to Israel is unlike a ‘vacation’ anywhere else in the world. For not only do you see, experience, and explore a different culture, but your soul is touched in a way that you could not have imagined. Whether you are Jewish - or not, religious - or not, Israel will change you. In a good way! For a truly unique experience, one that you will remember for the rest of your life, come to Israel. Visit Israel Celebration Tours (https://www.israelcelebrationtours.com/) then give me a call. Be inspired! We handle the details. You enjoy the tour.

One of the great joys of visiting Israel is seeing things created by our ancestors who lived one thousand, two thousand, three thousand years ago, or more! Israel was, and still is, a land bridge between culture and politics of ancient Africa and the lands of the Middle East. In our little country, professional archaeologists have uncovered stone tools used by people who lived in the Jordan Valley nearly 800,000 years ago; discovered clay pots that held olive oil and wine, bronze and copper jewelry, statues carved by ancient artisans, and exquisite artwork designed by families who lived as the original Bible was being written; and restored many ancient sites that were home to the earliest Jews and Christians, as well as their Roman conquerors. Israel is the land of milk and honey. Turkeys? If you want a whole turkey, you need to start looking for one well before you need to cook it. While Thanksgiving is not a national holiday in Israel, plenty of Americans live there and have learned it is easy to find parts, of a turkey. But getting a whole turkey (hodu in Hebrew) to stuff and roast takes planning! [ 87 more words ]

The hustle and bustle of Jerusalem suddenly quiets as the sun sets and the Sabbath approaches in the ancient city of Jerusalem. You’ll hear a siren as the sun is setting as the signal that the Sabbath is beginning. For the next 25 hours, offices and stores will be closed, city buses stay parked, people attend services in synagogues and enjoy family meals, and tourists may wonder what to do. [ 363 more words ]
