The House and its Garden:
Hanna`s home, named for my mother, was built by my father, with his own hands. Recently renovated to modern standards, it displays his workmanship in its hand-crafted mosaic walls, stone arches and more. The tranquil and lovingly tended garden around the house is filled with flowers and shrubs, and boasts a 50-year-old lemon tree. Every room in Hanna’s Home has its own character. There are two high-ceilinged bedrooms, each with a comfortable double bed, a walk-in closet, spacious bathroom, sun terrace with loungers, dining room, lavish library and a fully equipped kitchen. Under the pergola in the blossoming garden is a table for six and a three-seater swing chair. Yael manages the house, and is on call for you 24/7 . Interaction with Guests:
This house is where I grew up in — a home I love, in the city I love — and I want you to enjoy it as much as I did! Yael is there to help you do just that. Like me, she was born in the Jerusalem and knows the city intimately. She can help you out and answer your questions, whether they are about the house itself, or tourist sites, restaurants and services. She can recommend tours, guides and drivers, and even masseurs/masseuses, yoga teachers, aerobics trainers, arts and crafts and much, much more. The neighborhood

Overview:
The house is in the center of historic Jerusalem with its many diverse neighborhoods. It is just minutes’ walk from many of its landmarks — from the bustling food market of Mahaneh Yehuda to the Bezalel Academy of Arts to the romantic alleyways of the Nahla’ot neighborhood. Pavement cafés, luxury restaurants, galleries and designer shops are all close by, with Jerusalem’s Old City, Mamilla Mall, German Colony, Khan Theater and Cinematheque all within easy walking distance. Getting around:
With almost every stone rich in history, Jerusalem is a city for pedestrians. But when you don’t feel like walking, the Mahane Yehuda light rail stop is minutes away, and King George Street, around the corner, is a major bus artery. About the owner:
I am Etty Schiff, born and raised in Jerusalem, a city which is very dear to me. A crew member for El Al Israel Airlines for over 30 years, I visited many countries during that time, where I was warmly hosted. I recently realized a long-held dream and renovated the 65 year-old house where I grew up. Now, I am the one to host and welcome visitors to my city.

הבית של חנה ממוקם בלב ירושלים, תולדותיה של העיר שזורים ברחובות ובשכונות המקיפים את אותו. הבית נבנה במו ידיו של אבא שלי, משופע בשכיות חמדה פרי עמלו, מוקף בגינה מטופחת עם עץ לימון ותיק בן 50 שנה. כל פינה מלאה בנשמה.
על הבית
מתאים לאירוח של עד 4 אנשים. מכיל 2 חדרי שינה עם תקרות גבוהות, חדר ארונות, חדר אמבטיה מרווח, פאטיו שמש, פינת אוכל, ספרייה עשירה ומטבח מאובזר. הבית מנוהל על ידי סוכנת הבית, יעל.

על השכונה:
הבית ממוקם בלב העיר, מוקף בשכונות ההיסטוריות של ירושלים. דקות ספורות משוק מחנה יהודה, בגבה של אקדמיית בצלאל לאמנויות, בסמוך לסמטאותיה של שכונת נחלאות הוותיקה. בתוך השכונה, בתי קפה צעירים, מסעדות משובחות, גלריות וחנויות מעצבים. מדרחוב ממילא, המושבה הגרמנית,הסינמטק, תאטרון החאן והעיר העתיקה נמצאים במרחק הליכה.

זהו בית שגדלתי בו, שהוריי טיפחו באהבה כל פינה בו. הוא שופץ לאחרונה תוך שמירה על המורשת והרוח הייחודית לו, לצד התאמתו המודרנית לצרכים הנוכחיים.
הבית מאוד יקר לליבי, אנימקווה שתהנו ממנו, כמוני.
