What an amazing sunrise in the Judean desert. On our way to Eilat, Taba border crossing to bring our Dutch guest. We helped them to book a flight from Egypt, Sharm el Sheikh airport to the Netherlands. A taxi will bring them from the border in 3 1/2 hours to the airport. Flights are affordable from there.

Just before the surprise attack on Iran I went last Thursday on tour here in Judea;, Rachels tomb, Herodion, Machpelah, Tel Hebron, the new settlement Mizpe Zif and Ancient Susya. Because of the war with Iran they and another Dutch guest in the area became stuck in Israel. We offer ed them help to organize a new date for returning and in the mean time we offered them accommodations in the park when needed because of the dely of return. The area here is less targeted. The accommodations have a closeby strong shelter in case of need

Enjoy an amazing Shabbat or Jewish Festival Experience in the Hevron Hills in Susya with the new 'Susya Shabbat Hospitality arrangement'. Stay in Susya fieldschool facilities with recent upgraded rooms. Enjoy the Shabbat or Festival meals with families of the community who explain the several Jewish traditions connected with the Shabbat celebration. Also to join a Seder with Pesach can be arranged. Visit the synagogue for the Shabbat prayers and Torah reading and see customs and get explanation of what is going on. Enjoy the some other Shabbat activities as a walk in the village speaking with the locals, participate in the havdallah ceremony at one of the homes. At Motse Shabbat (Saterday evening) have a wine tasting or a workshop with a local craftsman or woman of Susya and at Sunday tour to some historical places in the area and of course Ancient Susya ending with a delicious lunch at Cafe RonEl. Also a tour to Hevron can be arranged. It was a highlight for Israel visitors who included this Shabbat arrangement in their itineraries already.
