🌋 CONQUERED! Today, hundreds of runners took on the Golan Volcano Run, tearing up ancient trails shaped by earth and lava hundreds of thousands of years ago. The weather conditions were absolute perfection for a legendary day on the peaks.

​Huge respect and a massive thank you to every athlete who showed up, pushed their limits, and conquered the wild terrain! 🙌🔥

We just celebrated our son Joseph Zev Shalem’s first ceremonial haircut, his Upsherin, at Nebi Samuel. We chose this sacred site after being deeply moved by the eulogy given by the father of Captain Maoz Israel Recanati z"l, who fell in Lebanon just over two weeks ago on Jerusalem Day. Twenty-two years ago, also on Jerusalem day, Maoz celebrated his own Upsherin at the same site.
​Being there, we felt the profound weight and beauty of Israel’s eternal spirit. Just as the biblical Joseph overcame adversity and the prophet Samuel led with unwavering faith, we pray that our Joseph grows from strength to strength. May he carry the courage, devotion, and light of our heroes into a bright and blessed future and may the Recanati family be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem. Am Yisrael Chai 🇮🇱
