🚢 Thinking about booking a cruise this summer, but not sure what it’s actually like onboard?
A few common questions we hear from first-time cruisers:
❓ “Is there enough to do on the ship?”
More than enough 😊 Cruise ships have full daily schedules including live music, shows, lectures, lounges, fitness centers, spas, games, excursions, pools, cafes, shopping, and more. On our cruises, we also add Jewish programming, shiurim, social gatherings, hosted activities, Shabbat experiences, and glatt kosher dining throughout the journey.
❓ “Do I have to be busy all day?”
Not at all. Some guests fill every hour. Others enjoy sitting on deck with coffee and a view. That balance is part of what people love most about cruising.
❓ “Are we at sea the whole time?”
Not at all. Most itineraries include exciting destinations and excursions almost every day, so you get to experience multiple countries and cities while only unpacking once.
❓ “What’s the kosher food actually like?”
For some cruisers, eating is the best part of cruising 😊. We provide full glatt mehadrin kosher dining throughout the cruise, including hot sit-down breakfasts, lunches, multi-course dinners, Shabbat meals, and attentive staff who remember your preferences along the way.
❓ “Will I feel seasick?”
Most guests are surprised by how smooth modern cruise ships feel, especially on larger ships with stabilizers. And of course, there are simple remedies available if needed.
❓ “Are cruises good for families?”
Very much so. Many cruises include children’s and teen programming, family-friendly excursions, and activities for multiple generations traveling together. At the same time, there are also plenty of adult spaces and quiet areas for couples, friends, and guests looking for a more relaxed pace.
❓ “What’s the atmosphere like?”
One of the most special parts is the feeling of traveling together with like-minded guests from around the world — whether during meals, excursions, Shabbat, or just relaxing onboard.
