We are extremely saddened to share the most devasting news of the passing of our beloved L. P. Pilgrimage Shepherd and L. P. Pilgrimage Foundation Board Member, Rev. John T. Howren.

Fr. John Howren has supported L. P. Pilgrimages USA office from its very inception in 2015. He was the very first USA Pastor to say yes to L.P. Pilgrimages to sponsor a pilgrimage from the USA to Italy without hesitation for the Year of Mercy in 2016.

In 2021, Fr. John Howren eargerly accepted the invitation to become a Board Member for our NEW L. P. Pilgrimage Foundation to oversee our worthwhile projects for Catholics in the Holy Land.

Over the years, Fr. John Howren has remained faithful to the L.P.Pilgrimage mission to help Christians residing in the Holy Land by sponsoring many groups to Italy, France, Holy Land and Ireland.

Fr. John Howren was invested as a Knight of The Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulcher because of his devotion to the Holy Land.

Fr. John Howren will truly be missed a shepherd and a cornerstone in the growth and spiritual direction for us.
