Today, we were truly blessed to welcome the Hungarian Seminarians’ Pilgrimage to the Holy Land, led by Sir Béla Jungbert of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem (EOHSJ).

After almost three years without pilgrims from Hungary visiting the Holy Land, their presence brings renewed hope, joy, and a powerful message of faith.

The Holy Land is waiting for you! May this pilgrimage inspire many others to return, walk in the footsteps of Jesus, and bring hope and encouragement to the Christian communities of the Holy Land.

Welcome back to the Land of Our Lord! 🙏

After a long wait, it is a blessing to once again welcome pilgrims to the Holy Land. 🇭🇺✝️

Today, we are especially grateful to welcome seminarians and Knights from Hungary, walking in the footsteps of Christ and praying in the sacred places where our faith began.

Their presence carries a beautiful message to Christians around the world: the Holy Land is waiting for you.

Come back to Nazareth, Bethlehem, Jerusalem, and Galilee. Come pray where Jesus was born, where He taught and performed miracles, where He gave His life for us, and where He rose again.

Your pilgrimage is more than a visit. It is an encounter with the Gospel made alive—and your presence is also a blessing and encouragement to the Christian communities who call the Holy Land home.

It is time to return to the Holy Land. Come and bring your faith to life. 🙏✝️

Four Women. Four Saints. Four Doctors of the Church. ✝️

Their voices have crossed centuries, inspiring Catholics through prayer, courage, wisdom and an extraordinary love for Christ.

St. Hildegard of Bingen — mystic, writer and visionary.
St. Catherine of Siena — courageous witness and counselor to popes.
St. Teresa of Ávila — reformer and master of the spiritual life.
St. Thérèse of Lisieux — teacher of the “Little Way” of love and trust.

In April 2027, join Bishop Kevin Kenney and MaryJo Sherwood on a special Catholic pilgrimage through Germany, Italy, Spain and France, walking in the footsteps of these four remarkable Women Doctors of the Church.

Pray where they prayed. Discover the places that shaped their lives. Encounter the spiritual wisdom they left to the Church.

We are extremely saddened to share the most devasting news of the passing of our beloved L. P. Pilgrimage Shepherd and L. P. Pilgrimage Foundation Board Member, Rev. John T. Howren.

Fr. John Howren has supported L. P. Pilgrimages USA office from its very inception in 2015. He was the very first USA Pastor to say yes to L.P. Pilgrimages to sponsor a pilgrimage from the USA to Italy without hesitation for the Year of Mercy in 2016.

In 2021, Fr. John Howren eargerly accepted the invitation to become a Board Member for our NEW L. P. Pilgrimage Foundation to oversee our worthwhile projects for Catholics in the Holy Land.

Over the years, Fr. John Howren has remained faithful to the L.P.Pilgrimage mission to help Christians residing in the Holy Land by sponsoring many groups to Italy, France, Holy Land and Ireland.

Fr. John Howren was invested as a Knight of The Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulcher because of his devotion to the Holy Land.

Fr. John Howren will truly be missed a shepherd and a cornerstone in the growth and spiritual direction for us.
