IN SEARCH OF LOST TREASURES...

For years, Israeli archaeologists have been searching for the authentic site of "Beit Saida," an ancient fishing village on the northern shore of the Sea of ​​Galilee. The village of the apostles Peter and Andrew, it is renowned for the miracles of Jesus Christ mentioned in the New Testament, notably the healing of a blind man.
Following these excavations, the remains of a 5th-century Byzantine church called the "Church of the Apostles" were discovered, along with what appears to be the site of Peter's house. A remarkable mosaic inscription refers to Peter "as chief of the apostles and keeper of the keys of heaven," while "fishermen's weights", found on the site, remind us of the origin of the village's name, "House of the Fisherman."
