Concluding a powerful 5-day visit to Marseille, France. 🇫🇷
I was invited by Mr. David Dahan, who participated in my tour of the Gaza Envelope last October. David and his warm family—his wife Sophia and daughter Noa—hosted me at their guesthouse, Bastide des Trembles, making me feel truly at home.
Marseille has a vibrant community of 80,000 Jews. During my visit:
I prayed at Tiferet Yisrael synagogue with Rabbi Avi Abuchatsira.
I shared a Kiddush with the community president, Mr. Jean-Marc Touboul & Patricia.
I was honored to open the Heichal for Parashat Bo.
I shared the story of our loss—Adir, Shiraz, and Celine—with the congregation.
I was also invited by Mr. Bruno Benjamin, president of CRIF Marseille, to a moving ceremony commemorating the Jews deported by N**i collaborators. In the face of rising antisemitism, my message was clear: Aliyah to the Land of Israel.
I shared this hope with the Zechut Avot community and Rabbi Yonatan Shukron in Alo, and with the local Jewish school - Bnei Elazar, thanks to the principal, Mr. de Maria.
