🇮🇳 TOAT Celebrates 79th Independence Day with Pride, Unity & Service 🇮🇳

Agartala, 15th August 2025 – The Tour Operators Association of Tripura (TOAT) celebrated the 79th Independence Day with great enthusiasm, patriotism, and social service.

✨ The celebration was led by President Mr. Ajit Kumar Paul, in the esteemed presence of Vice President Mr. Asit Baran Bhowmik, Joint Secretary Mr. Supriya Deb, Treasurer Mr. Pallab Bhattacharjee, along with 21 members and well-wishers.

📌 The day began with Flag Hoisting at the TOAT premises followed by the National Anthem. Members reflected on the spirit of freedom and reaffirmed TOAT’s commitment to promote Tripura’s tourism & cultural heritage.

🏡 Later, TOAT members visited Apnaghar Old Age Home, where another Flag Hoisting was held. Members distributed food items, sweets, fruits, groceries, juices, and bottled water to the residents – bringing smiles and warmth to their hearts.

💬 On the occasion, President Mr. Ajit Kumar Paul expressed pride in India’s progress and encouraged blending patriotic celebration with acts of kindness. Members also highlighted the role of tourism in fostering unity, compassion, and cultural connection.

The day concluded with light refreshments, heartfelt conversations, and an atmosphere filled with patriotism, brotherhood & hope for a brighter future. 🌿

We are deeply honored to have been invited to the prestigious "Rising Agartala Mahakumbha 2025" event held on 16TH of Nov-2025 at Agartala, aimed at promoting the upcoming Mahakumbh 2025, scheduled to take place in January-February 2025 at Prayagraj (Triveni Sangam), Uttar Pradesh.

This informative program provided invaluable insights to the Tour Operators of Tripura, helping us prepare to showcase Mahakumbh 2025, the largest religious gathering in the world, to the people of Tripura.

🤝 Building Bridges for Tourism Development! 🤝

On 3rd September 2024, members of the Tour Operators Association of Tripura (TOAT) had the privilege of meeting with Her Excellency Smt. Santana Chakma, the Minister of Industries and Commerce, Jail (Home), and Welfare of OBCs in the Government of Tripura.

We had a fruitful conversation about TOAT’s vision for enhancing tourism in Tripura. We also discussed improving taxi and transport services to better accommodate tourists and strategies to increase tourist footfall in the Pencharthal Assembly constituency.

We are grateful to Minister Smt. Santana Chakma for her time and support, and we look forward to collaborating on initiatives that will boost tourism and bring economic benefits to our beautiful state.

🤝 Engaging Discussions for a Better Future! 🤝

On 3rd September 2024, members of the Tour Operators Association of Tripura (TOAT) had the honor of meeting with His Excellency Shri Shukla Charan Noatia, the Minister of Cooperation, Tribal Welfare, and Welfare of Minorities in the Government of Tripura.

During the meeting, we had a great conversation about our vision and goals for promoting tourism in Tripura. We shared TOAT’s views on sustainable tourism, cultural preservation, and community involvement, and explored opportunities to collaborate on future initiatives.

We are grateful for the Minister's time and his valuable insights, and we look forward to working closely with the government to enhance the tourism experience in Tripura while supporting the welfare of our diverse communities.

On 31st August 2024, the Tour Operators Association of Tripura (TOAT) made a humble contribution to support the flood-affected people of Tripura through the Chief Minister's Relief Fund. The cheque was graciously handed over to our Honorable Chief Minister, Dr. (Prof.) Manik Saha Ji.

🇮🇳 Celebrating the 78th Independence Day with Joy and Compassion! 🇮🇳

On this special occasion of our 78th Independence Day, the Tour Operators Association of Tripura (TOAT) proudly organized a vibrant car rally, bringing the spirit of freedom and unity to the streets of Tripura! 🚗✨

Following the rally, we were honored to host a recreation tour for the wonderful children from Ishwar Pathsala & childrens of nabaprantik Orphanage. Together, we explored the majestic Ujjayanta Palace, the rich history of the Tripura State Museum, and the serene beauty of the Tripurasundari Temple.

The day was filled with smiles, learning, and a shared sense of pride for our nation's heritage. We concluded the celebration with a delightful lunch, spreading love and happiness on this momentous day.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this event possible and memorable. Let’s continue to cherish our freedom by caring for one another and celebrating the spirit of unity.

We are honored to share that members of our Tour Operators Association of Tripura had a productive meeting today with Jishnu Debbarman Sir, the Hon'ble Governor of Telangana State.

This interaction was an incredible opportunity for us to discuss important matters related to tourism in our state and to seek his valuable guidance and support. Yesterday, our members from the Tour Operators Association of Tripura had the privilege of meeting with Shri Dipak Majumdar, the Hon'ble Mayor of Agartala Municipal Council and esteemed member of the Tripura Legislative Assembly.

The discussions were insightful, focusing on collaborative efforts to boost tourism in Tripura and enhance the experiences of visitors to our beautiful state.
