This was last year somewhere in the Ladakh Valley.
What started as an incredible ride quickly turned into one of those experiences you don't forget — heavy rain, landslides, roads disappearing, and being stranded for days.
And yes, we had buffer days.
Turns out, in the Himalayas, sometimes even your buffer needs a buffer. 😅
It's easy to show the mountains when the skies are clear. But travelling here also means respecting how quickly the weather and roads can change.
A little planning, flexibility and patience can make all the difference.
Beautiful? Absolutely.
Unpredictable? Always.
