D&L Travels Wins 'Best Travel Agency of the Year' at National Business Awards 2025:
We are honoured to have received the Best Travel Agency of the Year award at the National Business Awards 2025, held in Guwahati on July 27, 2025.
The award—presented by renowned Assamese Bollywood singer and actor Mr. Zubeen Garg—is a significant encouragement for us. It reinforces our belief that even small businesses from remote corners of the country can make a big impact.
We are deeply grateful to the organisers for providing a platform that celebrates not only big corporates but also regional and Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) like ours.

D&L TRAVELS—legally known as D AND L BUSINESS ENTERPRISE—began its journey in 2010 from a humble home setup with limited resources. In 2016, we established our first office with the help of a small business loan from SBI, and by 2017, we had evolved into a full-fledged travel agency.

Though we operate as an MSME in a geographically small and remote market, D&L Travels has consistently maintained a strong annual turnover—a notable feat for an offline agency. While we may not compete with multinational OTAs (Online Travel Agents) like MakeMyTrip or Booking. com on sheer sales volume, we’ve earned our place through trust, professionalism, personalised service, and high performance within Mizoram and beyond.
It is a matter of great pride that D&L Travels has won the 'Best Travel Agent' award for three consecutive years from the Department of Tourism, Mizoram, since the inception of the Travel & Tourism Excellence Awards in 2022.
