Baijnath ki kahani thodi alag hai. 🔱

Yahan Ravan ko sirf ek khalnaayak ke roop mein nahi, balki Bhagwan Shiv ke ek mahaan bhakt ke roop mein dekha jaata hai.

Maana jaata hai ki Ravan Shivling ko Lanka le jaana chahta tha, lekin ek chhoti si ghatna ne us Shivling ko hamesha ke liye Baijnath mein sthapit kar diya.

Aaj bhi 12vi sadi ka ye prachin mandir Gomti nadi ke kinare apni wahi kahani aur parampara sambhale khada hai.

Kabhi-kabhi ek hi kahani ko samajhne ke liye… usse ek alag nazariye se dekhna padta hai. ✨

Katyuri kaal mein bana ye mandir sirf apni architecture ke liye nahi, balki apne incredible solar alignment ke liye bhi jaana jaata hai—jahan saal ke khaas dinon par subah ki roshni Surya Dev ki murti tak pahunchti hai.

Pahadon ke beech bani ye jagah aaj bhi humein yaad dilati hai ki hamare purane shilpkaron aur vaastu-karon ki samajh kitni gehri thi.

Almora ke Ramganga aur Vinod nadiyon ke sangam par basa Vridh Kedar sirf ek mandir nahi, balki aastha aur itihaas ka ek anokha sangam hai. 🔱

Kaha jaata hai ki Chand vansh ke Raja Rudra Chand ko ek raat sapne mein Bhagwan Shiv ne darshan diye aur kaha - “Yahan mera mandir banao.”

Raja ne mandir banwane ka kaam shuru kar diya. Sabse khaas baat? Is mandir ka zikr ek Taamba Patra mein milta hai, jiske anusaar 1568 AD mein Raja Rudra Chand ne yahan mandir banwaya tha.

Aaj bhi Ramganga aur Vinod ka sangam is jagah ko aur bhi pavitra banata hai, jahan bhakt darshan ke saath Janeu Sanskar aur shaadiyan bhi karte hain.
