चार धाम यात्रा दुनिया की सबसे पवित्र तीर्थ यात्राओं में से एक है। इस यात्रा में शामिल चार मंदिर यमुनोत्री, गंगोत्री, केदारनाथ और बद्रीनाथ हैं। इसे छोटा चार धाम यात्रा के नाम से भी जाना जाता है । इनके इलावा एक और चार धाम है जो आदि शंकराचार्य द्वारा स्थापित किये गए था। इनमे देश के चार अलग-अलग कोनों में चार पवित्र तीर्थ स्थल शामिल हैं, जैसे उत्तराखंड में बद्रीनाथ, गुजरात में द्वारका, उड़ीसा में पुरी और तमिलनाडु में रामेश्वरम।

छोटा चार धाम यात्रा के सभी पवित्र स्थल अलग-अलग देवी देवताओं को समर्पित हैं। केदारनाथ धाम 12 ज्योतिर्लिंगों में से एक हैं और यह भगवान शिव को समर्पित है। बद्रीनाथ धाम भगवान बद्री या विष्णु को समर्पित है। गंगोत्री धाम माता गंगा और यमुनोत्री माता यमुना को समर्पित हैं।
