What a remarkable display of “leadership.”

When some politicians run out of ideas, policies, and arguments, they apparently discover that insulting Kashmiri women is the next best strategy. It may earn a few cheers from the crowd, but it says far more about their character than it ever could about the women they target.

Respect is learned. Decency is learned. Unfortunately, not everyone graduates from that school.

Kashmiri women deserve dignity—not to become props in the theatrics of insecure politicians.

When those we trust to save lives begin to gamble with them, it shakes the very foundation of humanity.

The reports emerging from GMC Anantnag are not just disturbing—they are deeply unsettling. Allegations that nearly half of the patients who underwent a specialized cardiac procedure may not have needed it raise serious questions about ethics, accountability, and the sanctity of medical practice.

A doctor is meant to heal, to protect, to put the patient above all else. But when greed, negligence, or misuse of power enters the system, that same healer can become a source of harm.

This is not just about one individual—it’s about a system that must answer:
How did this happen?
Who allowed it?
And how do we ensure it never happens again?

Strict investigation, transparent accountability, and uncompromising action are the need of the hour. Because in matters of health, there is no room for experiments on trust.

Patients are not numbers. Lives are not opportunities.

Justice must not only be done—it must be seen to be done.
