Don't skip this advice if you are traveling toJibhi/Shoja to experience snowfall
1) Shoja currently has close to 3 feet of snow. Two-wheelers,hatchbacks, and buses will NOT be able to go beyondGhiyagi. Jalori Pass is closed.
HRTC buses are operational only till Jibhi. Only 4x4 vehicleswith snow chains can reach Shoja once the JCBs clear theroads.
If you don't have a personal vehicle, you can hop onto ashared 4x4 cab or camper to reach Shoja.
Avoid travelling at night or early morning as there is blackฤฐce on turns.
2) Temperatures are currently in minus even during daytime.Water pipes are frozen. Running water might not beavailable at most properties. We'll be providing hot water tOin-house guests in buckets. It is recommended to carry wetwipes for comfort.
3) Please buy good snow boots from Decathlon. There isblack ice on the roads. Without good footwear, you will slipand break a bone or twO.
4) Due to high speed winds and snow storms, power linesare down. Electricity may not be available in Shoja afterfresh snowfall.
Internet services are also inconsistent due to disruption ofpower and network lines. Please manage all your workdeadlines and leaves prior to coming here.

Skip this, and you skip the breathtaking view that makesShoja special.
Sure, you'll find snowy trees and white roads everywherethat's a given. But that's a sight you can get anyywhere inHimachal.
If you want the true "winter wonderland" experience, find aplace that offers an unobstructed, panoramic view.
