Passengers on Air India Express flight IX1082 from Bagdogra to New Delhi reportedly faced major discomfort after being kept inside the aircraft for nearly an hour without air conditioning.
The flight, scheduled to depart at 6 PM, allegedly remained grounded while the AC was not functioning, causing heat and breathing discomfort among passengers, including an elderly man who reportedly felt short of breath.
After repeated complaints, passengers were shifted to a bus and made to wait further before the flight finally departed around 8 PM. The flight was also rerouted via Lucknow before landing at New Delhi Terminal 1 around 10:15 PM.
