Two figures stood where no human had ever stood before.

Edmund Hillary. Tenzing Norgay. The summit of the world.

No GPS. No satellite phones. No carbon-fibre gear. Just sheer will, woollen layers, leather boots — and an unshakeable belief that the impossible was just a mountain.

Our Spring EBC Team came back to civilization Yesterday. And we have just came across the Photo Dump today. The views were extraordinary. We were supposed to share the Photos tomorrow, being the 'Everest Day', but couldn’t resist sharing at least one shot from Kalapatthar top!

Last month, we had the absolute pleasure of hosting a specialized Yoga Retreat for an incredible all-girls group amidst the quiet, misty hills of North Bengal.

While we are known for our high-altitude expeditions, this trip highlighted another core pillar of Altitude Adventure Holidays: 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗸𝗲 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 & 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘁𝘆 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹. 𝟱𝟬𝗸𝗺. 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻. 𝗟𝗼𝘄 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆. 𝗦𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘀.

None of it could stop our Senior Trek Leader, Sujoy, from conquering the 𝗝𝗕𝗚 𝗚𝗼𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗮 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗨𝗹𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝟱𝟬𝗸𝗺 with flying colours! 🏃‍♂️⛰️

Despite the brutal conditions and physical toll, he dug deep and pushed relentlessly toward the finish line. We couldn't be prouder—and honestly, his grit is a perfect reflection of who we are as a team.

✈️ 𝗙𝗹𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗟𝗲𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿? 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆. ✈️

If you take a flight to Leh, you are rocketing from sea level to 𝟭𝟭,𝟱𝟬𝟬 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝘁 in about 90 minutes. The landscapes out the window are breathtaking, but the air outside is incredibly thin.

Your body simply hasn't had the time to adjust to the drop in oxygen. This is why the 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟰 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗟𝗲𝗵 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗯𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴. 𝗩𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗲𝘆 team 1 got back to NJP and team 2 reached Okhrey today.

𝗧𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗵 team 1 returned to Haridwar on 10th and team 2 reached Chopta today.

𝗔𝗕𝗖 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽 team 1 reached home and team 2 left Pokhara for Humkhola today.

𝗦𝗶𝗹𝗸 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗲 team reached Zuluk today.

What promised to be a pleasant 'Spring' trek, turned into a full Snow trek. We encountered snow after 2 hours into the trek and it continued till today morning. This was our first foray in the Annapurna North Basecamp and we came back with lots of snowy photos.

The team reached North Basecamp on April 7 and returned to Pokhara today evening.
