Antharagange literally means "Ganges from deep" (or) “inner gange”, in Kannada. It is a mountain situated in Kolar district, famous for Sri Kashi Vishweshwara temple, pond and caves behind the temple.
Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Pond in the temple, which gets a continuous flow of underground water from the mouth of a Basava (stone bull), considered as Ganga on the head of Lord Shiva.
