It is in the year of 2015, five childhood school friends in an extensive search for peace as they needed a major break from the mundane lifestyle. From a long time they would regularly go for exploring unique places. One fine day while hanging out together a thought came to their minds to go on a long ride for 3-4 days to some off beat place. An interesting discussion started to plan the trip and a destination was decided. Once the date was fixed, the next step was to apply leave at office. Due to some reasons at the office, 2 of the friends were not able to get leaves. So it was left down to just three. There was a dramatic moment on whether to cancel the trip or make the trip happen with just the remaining three. In this course of critical discussion, a social media post on a tour being organized is seen. They felt that an utmost need for travel existed and people did not know where to go and how to go. In that very moment the premium travel brand known as Monks on Wheels is born. An adventurous itinerary and a well-planned budget for the trip was prepared and posted online. The event is shared within their friends’ circle and in turn shared across their network and finally 12 people joined the historic 1st trip. Looking forward, Monks on Wheels started conducting adventure trips on a regular basis. While conducting these trips, Monks on Wheels were observing, learning, and striving to improve themselves by taking constant feedback from all valuable customers and rectifying the mistakes along the way. Slowly, after tremendous effort they started to understand the world of travel. After which, new and beautiful destinations around Karnataka were added. Later on, Monks on Wheels extended the adventure trips outside Karnataka and so on. Now, Monks on Wheels has over 30+ destinations all across India which is tailor made to suit every type of traveller. Monks on Wheels as a travel brand promises to provide premium travel experiences to all in adventure tours, corporate MICE and leisure vacations.

Where every trail tells a story. 🌿

Some journeys are measured in kilometers. Others are measured in moments that stay with you long after the journey ends.

This adventure took us through winding trails, untamed landscapes, and paths less traveled—where every step forward brought us closer to nature and further away from the noise of everyday life. Surrounded by misty hills, lush greenery, and the raw beauty of the outdoors, the experience became more than just a getaway; it became a reminder of the joy that comes from exploration.

What started as a trail soon transformed into a shared experience of discovery, resilience, and connection. Every climb challenged us, every view rewarded us, and every moment strengthened the spirit of adventure that brings us together.

At Monks on Wheels, we believe the best experiences happen beyond the ordinary. Whether it’s an offbeat trail, a hidden destination, or a journey that pushes boundaries, we curate adventures that leave lasting memories and meaningful connections.

Here’s to embracing the unknown, chasing new horizons, and creating stories worth telling.

Trading lecture halls for the heart of the Wilderness. 🌿

There’s something about the climb to Vasota Fort that changes a group. This college trek wasn't just about the peak; it was about the exposure to nature in its purest, most untamed form.

From navigating the deep trails of the Koyna Wildlife Sanctuary to sharing laughs under the canopy, we created happy memories that will last long after the sore muscles fade. But the most important part of our journey? Our commitment to the earth.

Following a strict Leave No Trace policy, we ensured the only thing we took were photos, and the only thing we left were footprints. Sustainability isn't just a buzzword for us; it’s how we explore. 🌍

Check out how we do adventure differently at www.monksonwheels.com.

Rising above the daily grind. ⛰️

We recently took a corporate team to the historic heights of Makalidurga Fort. While the trail challenged the body, it was the team spirit that truly conquered the peak.
In the quiet of the hills, we witnessed something special: a team that truly understands the value of helping each other. Whether it was a hand offered at a steep turn or a shared moment of encouragement at the ruins, the bonding that happens on the trail is what turns colleagues into a community.

At Monks on Wheels, we curate treks that don’t just offer a view—they offer a new perspective on collaboration.
Plan your team’s next ascent with us.

Where the mountains meet motivation. 🌿

We recently curated a bespoke corporate retreat for team engagement and workshop in the lush heart of Coorg, blending the tranquility of the Western Ghats with the energy of a high-performing team.

In this curated space, the agenda went beyond the boardroom. Through carefully designed team building activities, we witnessed the incredible power of team work—transforming colleagues into a cohesive unit. It was a beautiful display of engagement, where laughter, strategy, and genuine human connection took center stage.

At Monks on Wheels, we don’t just plan trips; we orchestrate experiences that recharge, realign, and inspire.
