We never get tired of freaky fishes and we never get tired of telling you about it! :)

Today's guest is the large, greatly elongated yet shy oarfish. They can grow longer than 16 feet. The occasional beachings of oarfish after storms, and their habit of lingering at the surface when sick or dying, is quite possibly the inspiration for all the giant sea serpent stories we have heard from pirates! :)

Chorizo or more commonly known as Goan Sausages, is flavorful combination of meat and spices marinated in vinegar. The sour spicy mix is a must have, especially when you miss Goa.. at Kubay's! :)

Kachampuli is a potent concentrated souring agent made thru a elaborate process and used mostly in Coorg, Mangalore, Kerala and Maharashtrian cuisines. You may try it with Coorgi Koli Kari and it goes well with any accompaniment :)

The walking catfish found in Asia, can crawl on land from one lake or pond to another. How? It raises itself up with its front fins and pushes the ground with its tail. Like lungfish, walking catfish can breathe air out of water.

Awww.. Aint they the cute fish ever? Oh wait, no, they are not because they are mammals. Did you know they need to be conscious to breathe so they sleep by shutting down one brain at a time! Which is also why they sleep with one eye open. They would qualify for the naughtiest sea creature though being the only other species which indulges in s*x for pleasure! Now that you dint know, did you?! :)
