Our feet are itching to go the mountains.

It's monsoons in most part of the India, and Western ghats is bustling with life, and we're missing all of it.

On a positive note, the forests and mountains are healing without human intervention and over tourism.

A pandemic should not make us realise the importance of responsible and sustainable trekking and tourism.

As of now, let the forests and mountains heal and enjoy the Me time!

Sometimes destinations become our favorites because of the people and hospitality!

Kukkavu village in Belthangady taluk of Karnataka is one such destination for us, apart from being surrounded with kudremukha forest range, some beautiful waterfalls, lush green paddy Fields, this place is our favorite because of Mr. Parameshwar Rao and his family!

Authentic malnad food, warm hospitality, lessons on organic farming is what this family reminds us!

Apart from being a wonderful host, Parameshwar Rao and his family cultivates more than 150 varities of paddy and preserves them!

This one is from the Saptakund exploratory trek in 2017 .

We had ball hiking with Pradhanji and his family of

We're all locked down at home. And we can't stop thinking about the times when we were in the mountains.

This would be the perfect time to recognize, remember, and be grateful to the people who made our treks/travel/experiences safe, easy and memorable. We would be putting up posts in the coming days of our favorite people! We call them our !

This is Pemptok from Yuksom, who was our guide in the Goechala trek. He took care of us like his own Brothers, shared his paranormal and spiritual stories in the mountains, cooked us wild mushrooms and made it seem like the trek was easy!
