• Dirang: Famous for the Dirang Dzong and a Yak farm.

• Sangti Valley: A well-guarded gem of Arunachal, famous for its black neck Cranes, its oranges, apples and Kiwi orchards.

• Tawang (The historic entry point into India for the Dalai Lama)The site of world’s second largest Tibetan monastery)

• Sela pass: A beautiful scenic route from Dirang to Tawang, 13,700 ft. above sea level, the second highest pass in India.

• Bum la Pass( Indo China border), the closest point to China requiring a permit and a four wheel drive! It was used by the Dalai Lama when he escaped from Tibet!

• Zemithang village: A Monpa settlement with picturesque stone houses sandwiched between Bhutan and China.

My lungs startled at the clean air right away..What an incredibly fresh way to spend a couple of days. Farm stay. Gorgeous organic veggie food(heaven for vegetarians like me who cant imagine mouth watering simple veg food in Coorg) lovely quite verdant paths to walk and cycling trails with the only 'nuisance' being gentle cattle crossing your path, clean sheets to snuggle into at night and lotsa laughs..it just doesn't get any better than this..I am eternally grateful to the universe for these wonderful travel experiences..there cant be a better job in the world than sharing memorable time with new friends...
