MTS Globe Bulgaria achieves Travelife Partner level

Amsterdam, February 20th, 2025. The Travelife Partner level award was received today by MTS Globe Bulgaria (Bulgaria). The award recognizes the long-term efforts of MTS Globe Bulgaria regarding sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility.

MTS Globe Bulgaria complies with more than 100 criteria, related to an operator’s office management, product range, international business partners and customer information. The Travelife Partner level standard is covering the ISO 26000 Corporate Social Responsibility themes, including environment, biodiversity, human rights and labour relation.

Mr. Naut Kusters, manager of Travelife for Tour Operators, “I am delighted to see that sustainability in the tour operator sector is obtaining momentum. The Partner award of MTS Globe Bulgaria will inspire other companies in Bulgaria to follow the same path’.

Travelife is the leading international sustainability certification for the travel sector. More than 35 national travel associations are promoting the scheme to their members including ABTA (UK), ANVR (NL), PATA (Asia), FTT (South Africa), SMAL (Finland), UHPA (Croatia), JARTA (Japan), APAVT (Portugal) and more.

MTS Globe Bulgaria Hosts a New Edition of their Jet2holidays Roadshow!

"Every year, our partner Jet2holidays travels to its most important destinations in a roadshow to review the past season and plan for the season ahead.

On the 27th of August 2024 they started the roadshow in Bulgaria with a fantastic day organised by MTS Globe Bulgaria in the exclusive Voya Beach Resort 5* in Sveti Vlas.

The roadshow was attended by our CEO Michael Frey, Ivan Groshev and Lyubomir Danailov, representing MTS Globe, by high executives from Jet2holidays, including Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2holidays and Jet2.com and a selection of local hoteliers.

The day kicked off with Steve Heapy’s presentation, followed by John Taylor, Director of Contracting and Strategic Hotel Relationships Jet2holidays, and Adam Mulroy, Commercial and Revenue Director at Jet2holidays. Following the presentations came a Q&A session followed by a cocktail and one-to-one meetings between hoteliers, J2h and MTS Globe attendees.

The day kicked off with Steve Heapy’s presentation, followed by John Taylor, Director of Contracting and Strategic Hotel Relationships Jet2holidays, and Adam Mulroy, Commercial and Revenue Director at Jet2holidays. Following the presentations came a Q&A session followed by a cocktail and one-to-one meetings between hoteliers, J2h and MTS Globe attendees.

The evening culminated with a dinner at the renowned Khan’s Tent restaurant, offering guests a chance to further solidify relationships in a more relaxed atmosphere.

The roadshow, which is held annually, serves as a vital forum for MTS Globe Bulgaria and Jet2Holidays to update their business partners on their latest developments and plans for the future. For local hoteliers and tourism professionals, it offers invaluable insights into how we can collaborate, ensuring a strong, fruitful and continuous business partnership.

Feedback from Jet2holdays has been extraordinary, praising the organisation and thanking MTS Globe’s team for such a fantastic day.
