SPITI VALLEY IS TO OPEN FROM FEBRUARY 17

After being shut for almost a year, Spiti Valley will welcome the tourists from February 17. The majestic mountains covered in the blanket of snow are set to steal our hearts yet again.

If you are planning to visit Spiti valley as soon as it opens, then here are some things that you have to keep in mind.

1. For entering Spiti, all tourists will have to present a negative RT PCR test, which should be taken between 72 and 96 hours before reaching the valley.

2. Wearing a mask in public is mandatory and following all the social distancing norms is again a must.

3. Tourists are still prohibited, in Kibber, so you won't be able to visit Kibber village and the Kibber wildlife sanctuary.

4. Spiti is welcoming us once again, and hence we must be responsible while travelling. Please don't litter on the streets, don't violate any rules, and most importantly if you see anyone not wearing a mask, please point that out.

5. Carry an empty bag with you, and dump all the litter in that.

6. Respect what the locals say, remember, corona still exists.
