KIIT Robotics Society aims at promoting research and development in the field of robotics and instilling an interest about new and technologies into young minds. Our society encourages research and helps the students with their research in the field. Vision
“To transform our culture by creating a world where science and technology are celebrated and where young people dream of becoming science an
d technology leaders.”
KIIT ROBOTICS SOCIETY aka KRS focuses on research, knowledge sharing and learning with the aim of embracing new technology and making new discoveries in the field of Robotics with a high standard of ethics in service to the community. We will build upon key research strengths in the university and embark on new paths of discovery to identify socially responsible, innovative and economically and environmentally sustainable solutions to important societal problems using technology. We aim to prepare fellow students for national and international competitions to foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, team-working, communication, and leadership. To serve that mission, we will engage the talent and creativity of our exceptional students, faculty/researchers, staff and alumni in addressing issues whose complexity and societal impact make them particularly challenging. We plan to work closely with other industry associations, government bodies and academia to work on real-life projects and develop prototypes for them. This will make students gain real-world industrial experience, creating internship opportunities and hence enhancing their career. Encouraging interaction between students and robotics researchers in India as well as all over the world by holding joint workshops, conferences, seminars and webinars. Helding friendly robot practice session bimonthly to test and practice robot control and hence, polishing the abilities of students. Also these drill sessions will help in enhancing the innovative side of the student and prepare them for future competitions at the same time. Also creative tasks would be assigned in order to help the student to have an idea about how things work in real life situations such as mega-machines, etc.
