Siladitya travelled with us to Dak Bungalow last week and sent us this lovely note:

"I had a lovely time at the Dak Bungalow, Peora. One can sit right at the verandah and enjoy an amazing view of the Himalayas whist listening to birds chirping joyfully. My hosts were very friendly and supportive and took care of everything, from my taxi booking to my food. Having been set in a small village like Peora, the place is non-touristy and quiet, which is precisely what I was looking for."

Pratima travelled with us to Dak Bungalow Peora last week. Since it was a group, they had the entire place to themselves. Happy to share her feedback here:

" We enjoyed a lot .. Uncle and aunt both are great hosts. Since it was only 3 nights, we felt the time was very short .. next time will go for a longer period.

Thank you very much for the end to end coordination for our stay at the Mer Cottage - a fantastic place to work and vacation. This was our first after the lockdown, and it was beautiful, comfortable and safe in every way!

The Mer Cottage is visibly labour of thoughtful design, and a complete package - a fantastic view of the snow capped mountains, clean comfortable rooms, yummy food, the farm to roam, the forest trails to wonder and the local enterprises to meet the energetic and welcoming community. We did test ourselves voluntarily with RT PCR for Covid 19 before traveling, and we would encourage all travelers to do the same. The mountains are remote and the people there are unaffected so far, we must take all precautions to keep them safe."
