The 37th Nyingma Monlam Chenmo will be held from the 1st to the 10th day of the 12th month of the Tibetan lunar calendar, corresponding to 19 - 28 January 2026, in Bodhgaya, the sacred site where our compassionate teacher, the Buddha, attained enlightenment.
In conjunction with this auspicious gathering, the inauguration and consecration ceremony for the newly completed Tsuklakhang, which will provide accommodation for monks, nuns, and ngakpas (ta***ic practitioners) attending the Monlam Chenmo, will take place on the 5th day of the 12th month of the Wood Snake Year (23 January 2026).

The Buddha Samyak Darshan Museum-cum-Memorial Stupa in Vaishali is set to be inaugurated on 29th July 2025.

The Buddha Samyak Darshan Museum-cum-Memorial Stupa in Vaishali. This grand stupa, spread over 72 acres, has been constructed using pink sandstone. The design of the complex is also environmentally friendly, offering a pleasant experience to visitors.

On the first floor of the Buddha Samyak Darshan Museum-cum-Memorial Stupa, the sacred relics of Lord Buddha (bones) have been enshrined, serving as the focal point of the memorial. These relics were discovered at six locations, with those found at the Mud Stupa in Vaishali considered the most authentic—a fact also mentioned in the writings of the Chinese traveler Xuanzang (Hiuen Tsang).

Vaishali is a land rich in history and legend—it gave the world its first republic. This stupa stands as a majestic symbol of Bihar’s cultural heritage and global Buddhist legacy.
