ഞങ്ങൾ നിലമ്പുർക്കാർ ഒരു യാത്ര പോയാലോ ന്നു ചോദിച്ചാൽ ഊട്ടിലേക്ക് പോവാം എന്നാവും ആദ്യം പറയുക.നിലംബുരിൽ നിന്ന് നൂറുകോലോമീറ്റർ പോയാൽ ootty ആയി. എത്ര പോയാലും ഒരിക്കലും മടുക്കാത്ത സ്ഥലമാണ് ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് ootty. ശെരിക്കും നാലുദിവസം വേണം ootty കാണാൻ. tripayo ഒരു ദിവസത്തെ സ്റ്റേ ആണിപ്രാവശ്യം പ്ലാൻ ചെയ്തത്. കോഴിക്കോട്ടിൽ നിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ട് നിലമ്പുർ വഴി ootty യിലേക്ക്.റോസ് show, ഫ്ലവർ show , spice show, vegetable show, അങ്ങിനെ ഒരു പാട് show യുടെ time ആയിരുന്നു. നല്ല ട്രാഫിക് ഉണ്ടാവും എന്നറിയാം. പോയി പോയി ഷോർട് കട്ട്‌ അറിയാവുന്നത് കൊണ്ട് അധികം തിരക്കിൽ പെടാതെ തന്നെ ഞങ്ങൾ ootty യിൽ കാഴ്ചകൾ കണ്ടു. ചെറിയ ഒരു ചാറ്റൽ മഴയത്ത് റോഡ് സൈഡിൽ നിന്ന് വാങ്ങിയ നൂറു രൂപ കുടയും ചൂടി തണുത്ത് വിറച്ചു ടീമിലെ കുട്ടികൾ ഓടിനടക്കുന്നത് കാണുമ്പോൾ സന്തോഷം തോന്നി.നിത്യ ചൈതന്യ യുടെ ഗുരുകുലത്തിൽ പോവാതെ എങ്ങിനെ തിരിച്ചു പോരും. അവിടെ ത്യാഗിശ്വര ഗുരുവിനോട് ഞങ്ങൾ വരുമെന്ന് നേരത്തെ തന്നെ ചങ്ങാതി ബിജു വിളിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞിരുന്നു. കുട്ടികളെ കുതിര സവാരിക്ക് വിട്ട് അവിടെ ഒന്ന് ഓടി പോയി വന്നു. ആട്ടവും പാട്ടും ഗെയിംസും ഒക്കെയായി ഒരു വയസുകാരൻ തൊട്ട് 70 വയസുകാരിവരെ ചിരിച്ചു കളിച്ചു ആഘോഷിക്കുന്നത് കണ്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഇത് തന്നെയാണ് നമ്മുടെ tripayo കൊണ്ട് നമ്മൾ ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചത് എന്ന് മനസ്സിൽ പറഞ്ഞു ദൂരെ ഇരുന്ന് മൊബൈലിൽ ഇതെല്ലാം പകർത്തുന്ന മുല്ലയെ ഞാൻ തിരിഞ്ഞു നോക്കി. അവൾ എന്നെ നോക്കി വിടർന്നു ചിരിച്ചു.
