Mountains give us life, peace, and purpose. But today, they also need protection.
During our recent journey to Brahmatal Trek, the entire team of GoAdven India made a promise — we will not just complete the trek, we will protect it.
While many come to enjoy the beauty of Brahmatal, the team of GoAdven India chose to give something back to the mountains. Our guides, kitchen staff, helpers, and support team worked tirelessly throughout the trek. After long trekking hours, instead of resting, the staff of GoAdven India collected waste scattered across the trail.
We are proud to share that the team of GoAdven India brought back 500 kilograms of waste from the Brahmatal trail.
Yes — 500 kg.
Plastic bottles, snack wrappers, discarded packaging, and non-biodegradable waste that had been left behind. Each sack was filled by the hard work of our dedicated mountain staff. Carrying that much extra weight down from high altitude is not easy. It requires strength, dedication, and true love for the Himalayas.
Special appreciation to the ground staff of GoAdven India — our trek leaders, local guides, porters, and kitchen team — who showed what real responsibility looks like. They proved that being a trekking company is not just about organizing treks, but about leading by example.
For GoAdven India, responsible trekking is not a marketing line. It is our culture. It is our duty. It is our identity.
The Himalayas are fragile. The trails of Brahmatal are sacred. If we want future generations to experience this beauty, we must act now.
The team of GoAdven India will continue to: ✔ Promote eco-friendly trekking
✔ Spread awareness about waste management
✔ Encourage trekkers to follow Leave No Trace principles
✔ Protect every trail we walk on
We request every trekker and every travel company — please take responsibility. Carry your waste back. Support clean-up initiatives. Respect the mountains.
The team of GoAdven India is proud of what we achieved, but this is just the beginning.
Together, we can keep the Himalayas.
