Kali Tibba (also known as Kali Ka Tibba) is a hilltop temple located in Chail, Himachal Pradesh.
• Distance from Chandigarh: ~105 km
• Driving time: 3 to 3.5 hours
• Trek/Hike distance: 3–6 km depending on starting point
• Trek difficulty: Easy–Moderate
• Highest point: ~2,225 m (7,300 ft)

How to Reach From Chandigarh

Option 1: Chandigarh → Chail (via Kandaghat)
• Chandigarh → Kalka → Kandaghat → Chail
• Best route, good roads
• Travel time: ~3.5 hours
• Park in Chail, then hike.

Option 2: Chandigarh → Kufri side → Chail
• Slightly longer, more scenic
• Travel time: ~4 hours

Drive + Short Walk (If you want minimal trekking)
• You can drive almost to the top and walk the final 10–15 minutes.

What You’ll See
• 360° views of Shivalik ranges
• Beautiful sunrise and sunset viewpoints
• Dense pine forests
• Kali Mata temple at the summit
• Great photo spots along the ridge

Hatu Peak is located in the Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh in India. It is one of the highest peaks in the region, standing at an elevation of 3400 meters (11,152ft) above sea level.[1] The peak is surrounded by a dense forest of conifers, oaks, and maples.

Hatu Peak Trek is a day hike which packs in everything that you get in a full-fledged Himalayan trek – dark pine forests, superb mountain views, enchanting meadows. The trek starts at Narkhanda, 63 km from Shimla. So, it is perfect for those looking for a weekend trek.
