Today, we celebrate one of nature’s most iconic and powerful creaturesβ€”the tiger. These majestic big cats are not just symbols of strength and beauty, but crucial for maintaining the health of the ecosystems they inhabit. 🌿

There are six living subspecies of tigers:

πŸ”Ή Bengal Tiger – Found in India, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Bhutan
πŸ”Ή Indochinese Tiger – Native to Southeast Asia
πŸ”Ή Malayan Tiger – Found in the Malay Peninsula
πŸ”Ή Siberian Tiger (Amur Tiger) – The largest, found in Russia’s Far East
πŸ”Ή South China Tiger – Critically endangered, possibly extinct in the wild
πŸ”Ή Sumatran Tiger – Smallest subspecies, found only on Sumatra Island

With fewer than 4,000 tigers left in the wild, every step toward conservation counts.

π‘²π’–π’“π’Šπ’™π’‚π’π’–π’” π’šπ’‚π’π’ˆπ’Š, or 𝐘𝐚𝐧𝐠'𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐒π₯π₯-π₯π’π¦π›πžπ 𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐠, is a species of frog in the family π‘…β„Žπ‘Žπ‘π‘œπ‘β„Žπ‘œπ‘Ÿπ‘–π‘‘π‘Žπ‘’. It is endemic to India, Myanmar, and China's Yunnan Province.
The adult male frog measures 31.6–34.7 mm in snout-vent length. The skin of the dorsum is brown in color. There is yellow and green color on the flanks. There are spots on the upper abdomen. This frog has vomerine teeth, and the iris of the eye is gold in color.
This frog lives in evergreen forests between 354 and 1478 meters above sea level. The female frog lays eggs on leaves over water such that the tadpoles fall to the water below upon hatching.
Scientists classify this frog as at least concern of extinction because of its large range. However, it is under some threat from deforestation associated with farming and infrastructure.
