Azhimugham Munakkakadavu-Chettuva Azhimukham is a local sight seeing attraction in Chettuva. You could see huge metre length waves wildly hitting the borders in the Monsoon Season.

People are thrilled to see the mighty wave in action on the June – July months of Monsoon in Kerala. Azhimukham means the cove or river mouth where the river joints to the Sea. Chettuva is a small shore village with beaches on the west side and river called karuvannur river flowing towards the Kundukad – Thanikudam area of thrissur. Chettuva Azhimukham is located just 4 kms from the nearest town Chettuva off NH 17 Road. This spot is 11 kms away from the Chavakkad.
