Anamalai Tiger Reserve authorities rescued a tiger cub aged around eight months from Thaimudi near Valparai late on Tuesday. The cub was weak and it had a porcupine spine stuck on its body. The cub was shifted to the animal rescue centre at Rottikadai for further care.
