At Ethnic Photography, we dress you up in traditional South Indian attire. Experience various styles of being South Indian with us at our studio.

Exploring traditions and dressing in ethnic attire is an experience by itself. And getting to record that moment, an even better experience. When I got to dress up as a Maiko in Japan, I loved the idea of bringing a similar experience in India. This is when “Ethnic Photography” was born. For this, we identified various styles and set up our studio for that perfect South Indian experience.

Kuzhi paniyarams continue to be the favourite snack among our guests.
Similar to the Japanese Takoyaki, paniyarams are made in a special round mould.

What an absolute pleasure it was to host Ruriko and her partner from Japan.
'Ruri' in Japanese is a precious blue stone and she wanted a Tamil name similar to blue and Neelaveni was born 🙂
She knew so much about Indian food and is a big fan of Bahubali and Rajinikanth.
