Founded in the year 2003 by renowned philanthropist Dr. Paul Dhinakaran, SEESHA was originally started as a charity organisation. As the vision began to grow, its reach also widened to address the cause of downtrodden communities across India. Over the years, SEESHA’s approach has altered from charity to welfare and from welfare to holistic community development. Steadily growing into an entity of

professionalism and experience, SEESHA now adopts villages in some of the poorest regions in India, working towards their holistic development. With a four-fold view of development, we focus on areas of Education, Health, Environment and Livelihood among the people we work with. Our target groups include children, youth, women, senior citizens, communities, differently-abled, persons in need of physiological and psychological care and victims of natural disasters.

New Learning Space, Endless Potential: Inside SEESHA’s Thirasu Learning Centre Launch

Advancing equitable access to quality education remains at the core of SEESHA’s mission. To unlock new academic horizons for disadvantaged students, the SEESHA Learning Centre at Thirasu Village, Cuddalore, was officially inaugurated by our Chief Operating Officer, Ms Sweety Eunice, on Wednesday.

During the event, SEESHA’s COO spoke about SEESHA’s strategic vision and mission and briefed the attendees about the upcoming learning opportunities, including the digital classrooms initiative. The students interacted with the SEESHA executive team and gained valuable knowledge about SEESHA’s educational projects. A total of 60 students participated.
Local leaders, SHG members, the panchayat secretary, and SEESHA’s dedicated team further elevated the event’s success.

SEESHA School Kits Distribution 2026 Launch — A Day of Joy, Dreams & New Beginnings!

What a glorious morning it was last Saturday! The Auditorium at DGS Dhinakaran Prayer Tower, R.A. Puram came alive with laughter, bright eyes, and little hands clapping in delight as hundreds of children gathered, hearts racing with excitement to receive their school kits. Their cheerful faces lit up the entire venue!

Dr. Paul Dhinakaran (Founder & Managing Trustee — SEESHA) lovingly handed school kits with educational essentials to 700 beaming children, honoured our Class 10 & 12 top achievers, and celebrated proud skill training graduates. Joining the distribution were Adv. Easwaradhas (Trustee — SEESHA) and Ms. Sweety Eunice (COO — SEESHA). Every smile, every grateful glance told a story of hope being born.

This was more than a distribution — it was a celebration of dreams taking flight. Together, we’re brightening 20,000 futures across India!

Every Sapling, a Promise to the Future

This World Environment Day, SEESHA turned the theme — Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future. — into action across Chennai (Vanagaram), Cuddalore, and Coimbatore.

At Vanagaram, over 60 participants planted saplings at the Government Higher Secondary School, joined by the local VAO, SEESHA's COO Ms. Sweety Eunice, our team, and community members.

In Cuddalore, saplings were presented to the Kozhipakkam Panchayat, and Learning Centre students rallied for a greener future. At the Gram Sabha, a resolution was passed for source-level waste segregation.
