Sri Lakshmi Narashima Swami Temple, Parikkal –Villupuram
1) Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swami Temple, Singri Koil or Singirikudi.
This temple is Located 2 km West of Thavalai Kuppam off the Pondicherry-Cuddalore National Highway at Thavalakuppam take an auto from here to the temple.
The presiding deity is Ughra Narasimha with 16 hands. Divine Consort is named Sri Kanakavalli Thayar.
This temple Singirikudi faces the West towards the other two Narasimha temples at Poovarasankuppam and Parikkal. In each one of the sixteen hands, either an action or a gesture is shown or a weapon is held in the following manner.
To the right: 1. Banner, 2. Sudarsana Disc set to motion, 3. Hand – Dagger, 4. Arrow, 5.Severing the demon’s head, 6.Knife, 7.Holding down Hiranyakasipu’s leg, 8. Tearing out Hiranyakasipu’s intestines.
To the left: 9. Holding up a garland of demon’s intestines, 10. Conch, 11. Shield, 12. Bow, 13. Mace, 14. Severed head, 15. Pressing down Hiranyakasipu’s head, 16. Tearing out Hiranyakasipu’s intestines.

2)Sri Amirthavalli Nayaki Sametha Sri Lakshminarasimha Swami Temple – Poovarasankuppam
Poovarasankuppam is a very famous Lakshminarasimha Temple situated at Villupuram -17kms East of Villupuram., Tamil Nadu.
Poovarasan Kuppam temple is referred to as ‘Dakshina Ahobilam’. After the Hiranya Samharam at Ahobilam, Lord Sri Narasimha appeared at Poovarasankuppam in the same form and gave Darshan to the Sapta Rishis as Lakshmi Narasimha.
The main deity of this temple is Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy. A unique feature here is the posture of the divine Mother Mahalakshmi, who is seated on the lap of Lord Sri Narasimha. Also, interestingly the deities of Lord Sri Narasimha and Goddess Lakshmi are of the same height at this temple. One Eye Of Lakshmi Directed Towards Lord And The Other Graces Devotees.
Most of the people Visited here on a Swathi Nakshatra day and attended auspicious Swathi Homam Pooja conducted by temple. Hundreds of devotees attend the Homam and receive blessings of Lord.

3) Lakshmi Narashima Swami Temple, Parikkal -Villupuram
Parikkal Narasimha Temple is an ancient temple located at Parikkal village, 23 km from Viluppuram. The place is situated between two rivers, Thenpennai and Garuda.
