Kotte-Betta is the third highest peak in Coorg district after Tadiandamol and Brahmagiri. It is located 15 km from Coorg in Hattihole region. The name means “Fort Hill”. There’s a temple on top of the peak and It is believed that the Pandava brothers spent some time here during their period of exile. The climate in the region is pleasant, making it a wonderful summer getaway. The trek offers various types of trails and includes a final stretch of rock patches which adds up on to the adventure. All along the way, you’ll hear the gush of water and the chirping of the birds – acknowledging the fact that you’re far far away from the hustle of your daily routines.

DAY 0: Start from Chennai.
Day 1: Freshup in Homestay – Trekking to Kotte-Betta peak
Day 2: Visit Buddist Monastery.
Day 3: Return to Chennai
